MAXISHUTTER™ DOMESTIC ROLLER SHUTTER DOORS consist essentially of a curtain of interlocking slats which form a continuous hinge along their entire length. This construction permits the curtain to roll up or down as it is raised or lowered onto a revolving spring loaded barrel which is mounted onto steel support brackets. A bottom rail, fitted to the curtain, strengthens the curtain and allows for the fitment of handles and locking devices. The curtain is also prevented from moving sideways by side channels and the rolling mechanism is enclosed in a canopy hood.



MAXISHUTTER™ DOMESTIC ROLLER SHUTTER DOORS are used widely in Domestic Applications from simple applications such as Patio Enclosures to electrically operated Inscape Doors and in all Domestic Enclosures.

	OPERATING MECHANISMS : Both Manual and Electric operation are available On an electric operation you can choose either remote or key switch control.
	NYLON END-LOCKS: Fitted to both sides of the door curtain, the nylon end-locks run inside the side-guide rails ensuring that there are no steel -on steel moving parts. The result is a smmoth and quiet operation
	LOCKING MECHANISMS Centre locks are used in all manually operated doors. The centre lock is fully enclosed in the bottom bar of the door and can be unlocked from both the inside and outside of the door. The Bottom bar is attached to the door curtain and thus rolls out the way leaving no obstruction or tripping obstacle on the floor.

	CANOPY COVER Made of formed galvanised sheet metal, its unique design is unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing. It covers the spring barrel assembly, protecting it from dust build up.
	SPRING BARREL ASSEMBLY This is the shaft that the curtain rolls on to. Its robust design is easy to operate and has a long life expectency.
	ELECTRICAL OPERATION: Electric operation is recommended for large doors in frequent operation, although this type of operator can be specified for any size door. In the case of electrically operated doors, the supply would include the electrical motor reduction gearbox, remote push button starter, limit switch assembly and, if required, an electromagnetic brake. The rollershutter would be fitted with an emergency hand operator for use in the event of a power failure. Many other features can also be supplied - such as card readers, inductive loop circuits, automatic operation, etc.
