Maxidor receives the International Star Award in Geneva 2001

Adding to its already impressive store of achievements, accolades and accreditation, Maxidor recently received the International Star Award 2001 from Business Initiative Directions (BID). 

This prestigious award was presented at BID's 26th International Star Convention for Quality in Geneva in recognition of Maxidor's "commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation." The presentation of the trophy took place in the Convention Hall in the Intercontinental Hotel Genéve.

The event was presided by Jose E. Prieto, President and CEO or Business Initiative Directions along with outstanding personalities from the business world and international members of the diplomatic corps in Switzerland.

Mr. Jose E. Prieto shared the following: "The awarded companies are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation which make them models for other companies in their sectors."

Maxidor was the only company from South Africa to win an award

BID, whose symbol of quality is recognised in 162 countries, first surveyed some 9500 companies worldwide before singling out Maxidor from South Africa for its significant contribution to the business world and for its "high standing and professionalism demonstrated by prestigious performance." 

The International Star Award is a true victory for Maxidor.
