August 2002 Maxidor opens a new factory
and
showroom in Durban.

Maxidor first opened its Pinetown branch in 1989 and as a result of the massive growth experienced, in KwaZulu-Natal, Maxidor
has now set up a larger factory in New Germany. This new factroy has a showroom and offices on Henwood Road which can be
visited by the public during office hours and on Saturday mornings.

Maxidor
has been operating from premises at Wareing Park in Pinetown for the past 13 years and, because of the massive growth it has
experienced in KwaZulu-Natal, has moved to a larger factory in New Germany.
" We first opened our branch in 1989. The Natal operation has nearly grown to the size of head office. For us to maintain the high quality as demanded by the new ISO 9001-2000 Standard, we simply needed much larger premises," said Renata Downing, joint managing director of Maxidor.
Maxidor's commitment to excellence has awarded them many accolades over the years.
"Our commitment to ISO standards as required by SABS and BSI ensures that we maintain high quality products and service.
"This dedication to systems has been one of the major contributors to our growth countrywide. In KwaZulu-Natal alone we have grown by 81,3 percent in the first six months of theis year," says Mrs Downing.
"Our KwaZulu-Natal operation has broken its own sales records three times in 2002 alone."
The new factory in New Germany has a showroom and offices on Henwood Road which can be visited by the public during office hours and on Saturday mornings. The new factory will also ensure a quicker delivery.
